JoCo Candles was founded by Joanna in 2020.
"I started making candles in 2019, experimenting with lots of different waxes and gifting them to close friends and family. The following year I began experimenting with pressed flower candles for my own wedding when I realised the opportunity to make bespoke candles for others. Lots of people have a favourite flower, so a JoCo candles can be the perfect personalised gift. If you want to preserve your wedding bouquet or other sentimental flowers, my products are a lovely way to remind you of a special memory.
Excluding custom orders, all of the pressed flowers and foliage used in the candles are garden flowers grown in either my mum’s garden in the Malvern Hills, or my own garden. All of my products are lovingly handmade at my home, Lavender Cottage in the midlands.
I wanted to make sure that all the products I make are eco-friendly, so all of the flowers I use are naturally dried and the candles are made with rapeseed wax which contains no harmful toxins and has a low carbon footprint. All products are shipped in 100% recycled or recyclable packaging and the fragrances used are vegan and cruelty free. The flowers are also set to the glass using a special non-toxic sealant.
All of my products are made using real dried flowers/foliage so each one is completely unique. I hope you love your JoCo products as much as I enjoy making them!
