Mum I made it!
If you know me then you know that when asked as a child ‘what do you want to be when you grow up’ (other than the obvious ‘ballet dancer’ or something similar), it was always ‘I want to design houses in my own shop with a family + my dog’. Who knows where that vision came from (honestly, I think it came from Sims haha), but Mum I made it!
Our very own little shop! I say ‘our’ because it was very much a family effort... my amazing partner Ryan helped make these dreams come true and my family + and friends worked super hard to bring the vision to life. It feels full circle because as a teenager, I have always worked in Leamington Spa. First in House of Fraser and then in Oliver Bonas and I would always say to my co-workers ‘I would love to have my own shop here’ and here we are, just off the Parade, in Leamington Spa - pinch me!
With a degree in Interior-Architecture, I hope to one day fulfil the dream of ‘designing houses’ (watch this space!) but in the meantime, I’ll stick to stocking some amazing independent brands and hand-pouring my own range of candles, wax melts and our semi-famous flower reed diffuser.
I cannot wait for you to visit the shop! Please do if you have the chance, come for Winnie cuddles, I’m here for all the laughs, support when you need it and somewhere to run in to on a rainy day. This is more than just a shop to me and you are more than just a customer, I love and adore the friendships we have built within S11 already and it’s exciting that we now have somewhere to meet in person - I’ll see you soon, love Abi x
